Tablites were keen to promote this new Legends range from Elux and it didn’t take me long to find out why, at least two of them became some of the nicest flavours I have come across, but all were superb in their own way.

Inspired by the ELUX disposables, they have sensibly released the e-liquids for us proper vapers and hopefully to sway disposable users onto real vaping kits.

I’ve recently been harping on about ‘disposable killers’ with hardware, and now we are getting disposable killing e-liquids. The ELUX Legend range tastes so much better in a decent rechargeable pod.

I was sent a selection of eight flavours out of the range of 28 flavours, 28! As much as I would have loved to try all of them, it would have taken me months to get through all those.

They come in two strengths; 10mg or 20mg nic salts, and in 10ml bottles.

The box they come in is rather oversized, I’m not sure if that’s a ploy so they stand out on the shelf alongside disposables, but they are a bit too long in my opinion.

But when you open up the box you find the 10ml bottle sealed in a foil bag for hygiene and freshness, what surprised me is that when you opened the foil bag you got a small scent of the flavour which was quite nice, nothing had leaked inside though.

Tablites were both generous and smart as they kindly sent a Vaporesso XROS 3 and three packs of 0.8ohm pods for me to properly test out each flavour with a fresh pod, this really made my job easier and the smartness was that the XROS 3 offers some of the best flavour out there.

The flavours I was sent to test out were:

Banana Ice
Berry Grape
Cherry Lime
Fresh Menthol Mojito
Lemon Peach Passion Fruit
Strawberry Kiwi
Strawberry Raspberry Cherry
Rainbow

I didn’t think too much of the selection, they all sounded familiar, but they proved to be deceiving as the blend/balance and sweetness made these average sounding flavours into something rather special.

So armed with an army of eight filled pods, I set about testing the flavours out. I consumed at least a full pod (2ml) before forming my opinion.

Banana Ice

"Smooth and mellow banana combines with an icy finish"

Ever since disposables came out, this was one of my favourites but I haven’t found an e-liquid to rival them until now. Damn, this one is just perfect, the banana flavour is strong but not overpowering and the ice element carries the smooth aftertaste for longer. I will definitely be buying this one again, the best banana e-liquid I’ve tried.

Cherry Lime

"Juicy and tart red cherries are paired with vibrant zesty limes to create this delicious flavour combination"

Cherry & Lime? I wasn’t quite sure this was a good combination until I tasted it. Damn I LOVE it, so punchy and mouth-watering. These two fruits blended together to make such an interesting flavour with neither overpowering the other, the aftertaste was even nicer, the first ADV (All Day Vape) so far.

Fresh Menthol Mojito

"Fresh Menthol Mojito is a take on the classic Mojito cocktail in an e-liquid. Lime, mint and ice combine to make a deliciously refreshing vape experience"

Thank Zeus they added the Mojito to this. I am not a fan of pure menthol, actually I’m not much of a Mojito fan either, but shoving 'em together made for a rather tasty vape and pleasantly different to anything I had tried before. I enjoyed it, but I doubt I will rebuy, one for menthol fans that want something a bit extra I would say.

Grape Berry

Sounds simple but the blend and balance works so well. I do love grape flavour and the mixed berries gave it something more interesting and tasty. It also made it smoother and was an instant ADV for me, a rebuy for sure.

Lemon Peach Passionfruit

This is a WOW! Flavour. I was addicted to this one almost straight away, the interesting fruit blend really works well together. It’s like nothing I’ve tasted before, delicious is the word I would use and very punchy. Usually punchy flavours don’t suit ADVs but this one did, I quickly demolished the whole 10ml bottle and made a note to reorder this one for sure.

Rainbow

"A fruity candy flavour e-liquid with the taste of the popular multi-coloured sweets"

Rainbow eh? I’m kinda bored of this one as it has been done to death, but somehow ELUX have brought it back to life. It tastes more punchy than others I’ve tried, better still they toned down the sweetness to bring out the fruity flavour more. I would say it is the best rainbow I’ve tried.

Strawberry Kiwi

I like the above web page description as it sums it up perfectly, but it is more than that as it also gave me the WOW! Factor and was my second favourite of the bunch. Another reorder jobbie.

Strawberry Raspberry Cherry

If ever a box colouring indicated a flavour then this is it, strawberry and raspberry work well together but add the dark cherry and it becomes a different animal and a pleasantly surprising one. I was torn whether this was my 2nd or 3rd favourite but I settled for 3rd as it wasn’t quite a WOW! One. It is definitely a reorder one though, and I agree that it makes a delicious all day vape.

Overall I am more than impressed with the ELUX Legend range. I don’t mean to sound harsh but they taste a lot better than they look, the bottle artwork looks a little cheap but the contents are premium in my opinion. I also felt like the flavour titles deserved something more interesting as some are far much more than the simple title, Lemon Peach Passionfruit for example, I would call it something more trendy like Epic-Shot…. Erm, yeah I can see why I wouldn’t get a job in branding! But my point is that don’t let the simple descriptions lead you into thinking they are simple, ELUX have nailed the blend/recipe/balance into a true ‘legendary’ selection.

And that was only 8 out of the 28 flavours on offer, and the 10 for £30 offer won’t be difficult to find 10 bottles of top quality e-liquids that taste better than the disposables and will work out cheaper even if you have to purchase the hardware, and Tablites have you covered there too:

For around £45 to £50, you could get 10 bottles (100ml) of ELUX Legends (equivelent to 50 disposables) and a decent reususable/rechargeble starter kit, but even if you just went for 3 for £9.99 and a £14.99 kit such as the Geekvape Wenax, you still get save money on disposables and it only gets cheaper after that as you only need to replace the pods.
