ANDS, a trademark owner and distributor of alternative nicotine delivery systems, including vapes, has set its sights on the travel retail sector in the UK. The company says that this forms a key part of the AND’s international growth strategy and its goal to top $500m sales in the next three years, which represents a startling performance for a business founded during the pandemic.

ANDS, which recently announced its arrival in the UK, currently serves major retailers, including Lagardere Group, Gebr Heinemann and Dufy AG in airports in the Middle East and is looking to build on this track record in the UK and Europe. In Europe, ANDS already supplies vapes to retail outlets at Frankfurt and Vienna airports.

The company will also be investing in the opening of vaping rooms at airports across the world including in the UK, so vapers no longer have to share smoking/vaping areas with tobacco smokers before their flights. Recently, ANDS announced the opening of the only airport vaping room in the world in Beirut Airport.

We firmly believe that vapers have the right not to be exposed to toxic cigarette smoke, while using their vapes,” said Fadi Maatya, President of ANDS.

Arnaud Piorkowski, Head of ANDS Travel Retail Business added: “Vaping products have proved very popular in the travel retail sector elsewhere in the world and we believe that this can be replicated in the UK and across Europe. We are now well established in this retail market segment and we work with some of the largest duty-free chains in the world. We are excited about our plans in the UK, including the introduction of dedicated vaping rooms at UK airports.”
