JAC Vapour Series S17 Topfill

JAC Vapour were founded in the United States way back in 2010 by Andrew Logan, and since those early beginnings they have grown into one of the largest retailers within the UK, with a large online store, online wholesale store and numerous bricks and mortar stores across the UK. Interestingly, they are the only mainstream UK vaping company that designs all of its hardware in-house, drawn up by expert product designers, with products ranging from beginner vaping kits right through to advanced box mods, and a large range of e-liquids are also produced in-house. JAC Vapour back up all of their products with industry leading up  to one year guarantees, and are very proud of the thousands of five star customer reviews they have received.

One of the products produced in house by JAC Vapour is the Series S17 Topfill, an easy to use vape pen styled device aimed at those looking to switch from smoking to vaping. It offers a draw that is designed to replicate the one provided by a cigarette, with a pocket friendly form factor. It has been precision engineered within JAC Vapour's Edinburgh office to be a rock solid starter kit, and has an easy to use top filling system to make filling the Series S17 Topfill a breeze.

JAC Vapour Series S17 Topfill

JAC Vapour's Series S17 Topfill kit is designed in the vein of the the classic 'vape pen' styled starter kit, which is a lightweight and sleek design that is pocket friendly and easy to use, measuring in at 116mm in height with a 17mm width. Black, stainless steel and pink finishes are available, I received the black version to review which features a premium steel alloy with black rubber oil finish. It feels exceptionally well made for a starter kit, and it certainly looks the business as well!

Battery capacity measures in at 900 mAh, the battery itself features the Series S17 logo imprinted on it, with a battery venting hole, USB charging port and an LED light indicator present on it. The power button is manufactured from polycarbonate with an ABS rubber oil finish, the power button is easy to operate with your finger and is very responsive as well.

The Series S17 TF (top fill) tank is also included with the kit, this is also manufactured from steel alloy with an ABS rubber oil finish, and has a glass tank section with a viewing window that enables you to easily see how much e-liquid is left in your tank. The tank capacity itself is 1.8ml, and this is refilled through a very easy top filling system, adjustable airflow is also present on the tank.

Using the JAC Vapour Series S17 Topfill

The JAC Vapour Series S17 Topfill has been designed to be as easy to use as possible, as it is marketed towards those new to vaping. It comes supplied with a 1.0ohm mouth to lung coil, which is designed to replicate the draw from a normal cigarette. Firstly you need to install the coil head by unscrewing the tank from the battery, and screwing the coil head in. Filling is easy, as you simply unscrew the top cap from the tank and fill through the top, and it is quick and easy to do so. If you are filling with a fresh coil head in, you'll need to leave the juice to sit in the tank for 10 minutes to avoid burning your coil out too quickly.

5 clicks of the power button will turn the device on and off, and the LED lights will flash to indicate that it is on. Simply press the power button to fire! The 1.0ohm mouth to lung coil offers a fairly loose mouth to lung hit with the airflow wide open, however this can be dialled right down by adjusting the airflow. Vapour production is very good, and the flavour is very good indeed for a starter kit, offering a pretty tasty vaping experience! Coil heads with different resistances to suit different vaping styles are available through the JAC Vapour website.

Power output starts off at 4.2V when fully charged, and decreases during use until it goes down to 3.1V, at which point you will need to recharge the device, the visual LED indicators will show you roughly how much battery life you have left. The built in battery has a 900 mAh capacity, which will last most beginner users a whole day, and it recharges quickly via USB.

JAC Vapour's Series S17 Top Fill is one of the highest quality starter kits I've used, both in terms of the build quality and the performance. It has a very high quality, premium feel to it, alongside very good performance in the flavour department. It's very easy to use, with a quick filling method and one button operation, making it an attractive option for beginners to vaping. If you are looking to make the switch from smoking to vaping, this is a kit well worth having a look at!  You can check it out on JAC Vapour's website here https://www.jacvapour.com/series-s17-tf - POTV readers can get 15% off retails price with the code POTV15 at checkout - codes not to be used for the purchase of unlicensed nicotine containing products or their components.
