In terms of its styling and performance the Skyhook RDTA is excellent and in theory it should be an absolutely ideal all-in-one option for high Wattage cloud chasing fans but it does suffer from one very fatal flaw. Despite its many plus points the serious leaking issue makes this device very hard to recommend and the leaking will likely just end up ruining the electronics and your batteries. Not to mention that it could even be potentially dangerous.
Personally I would say that if you want a device like this with a similar styling then your best bet is to get the SMOK Alien Kit or just the SMOK Alien on its own and pick up a good large capacity RDTA to use on it. It really is such a shame that this device is ultimately a let-down because the vape it offers is excellent so I do hope SMOK addresses its one major flaw because at present I feel it would be a very poor investment.
Since we had no idea about this devices leaking problem until we actually reviewed it we had already purchased two of them and have an unused blue one to give away. Hopefully it does not have the same problem as the gold version but do be aware the potential is there so only enter the competition if you really don’t mind taking a chance on it.
