Never ones to sit back and relax, Dispergo Vaping have sent over some new ranges for us to try out. I really do worry that the mix masters might get sleep deprived as they just never seem to stop! Maybe they dream of flavours, it certainly would explain how they keep coming up with so many new e-liquids.
First up we are going to take a look at the Jord range, a totally new line which take their inspiration from springtime in Scandinavia. Quite frankly, if you can say “Jord” without channelling your inner Swedish Chef, there is something wrong with you and I am afraid we can never be friends (unless you are too young to remember the Muppet Show, in which case the same applies but for different reasons). So far, there are four fresh new flavours to choose from.
As usual from Dispergo Vaping, the artistic design is brilliant. The label art really captures the pine forests along with the classic scandi feel with a keen eye on design. The only thing that would make them more Scandinavian would be if they added a lingonberry jam flavour to the ranks. I particularly like the semi-transparent design with the salted caramel e-liquid, after a bit of steeping, the deeper colour of the juice gives it a setting sun feel which looks really cool. As you would expect, all the information you would expect can be found on the labels.
As is fairly standard for shortfills, these are 70VG/30PG and are 100ml. There is space in the bottles for a couple of nicshots so make them up to 3mg. I found they worked well in most of my testing set ups though, although the salted caramel seems ever so slightly thicker so that one may not be quite as good for slower wicking tanks.
Raspberry Blackcurrant

Raspberry Blackcurrant is classic Dispergo Vaping, fresh and bold. It very nearly is too strong but somehow just manages to stay on the right side of the strength scale. It is seriously fruity, and the berries literally burst out in every vape. Their raspberries are always on point, tangy yet sweet, and the depth on the blackcurrant lasts well after you’ve put your mod down. If you like a subtle approach, you will not be in your happy place here, but for those of us that like bucketloads of flavour, this really hits the spot.
Redcurrant Cherry

Yay, more berries! I do love red fruit e-liquids, and this one is no exception. Redcurrant is a refreshing change from the more traditional blackcurrant, and it adds a different layer to the flavour as they are lighter and sharper. This cuts through the cherry which adds a sweet rich flavour. They blend together really well. I think it is a great counterbalance to the Raspberry Blackcurrant, they are fairly similar flavours but this time round, the richness is more underlying, and the tangy juiciness is more upfront. If you like fruity flavours, I think you will be happy with either (or both!).
Salted Caramel

Whilst the rest of the range is solidly fruity, Salted Caramel throws a curveball in to the mix, not a berry in sight! This is quite a classic caramel flavour, sweet and almost warming, it is like a comfort blanket, and I guess it could be considered an e-liquid which sums up the feelings of Hygge (a Danish and Norwegian word for a mood of cosiness and comfortable conviviality with feelings of wellness and contentment…thanks Wikipedia!). It is very lightly salted so whilst not obvious, it does help to set it apart from the regular caramel flavours out there. What isn’t so different is that it is a bit of a coil killer. It is lovely with a nice fresh wick or coil, but I was finding I needed to freshen things up after each refill. No hardship, but something to be aware of.
Strawberry

Well, this was a surprise, only a single flavour? That is not what I have come to expect from Dispergo Vaping, but as soon as you take your first vape, you know it is definitely part of the family. I would say it isn’t so much of a fresh fruit flavour, more of a jammy, candy strawberry. In fact, if I had to pin it down, I would say that it tastes just like strawberry laces, which is great as I love them! It has that thick chewiness that you get from a handful of laces and is just as addictive…just one more vape and I’ll stop!
Final Thoughts
Dispergo Vaping have nailed it yet again, great flavours coupled with a great concept. Best of all, you don’t need a degree in deciphering flat pack instructions to be able to the Jord Range. As always though, if for any reason you don’t enjoy them, just contact Dispergo Vaping and they will look after you, allowing you to swap them out for something else completely free of charge. You can pick them up direct from Dispergo Vaping for £15 a bottle, but if you like to get more bang for your buck, they are also in the 2 for £25 deal which makes them really good value for money.
