Coastal Clouds offer a taste of adventure with their range of premium sweet and fruit flavoured e-liquids, including The Voyage which won Best In Show for the Breakfast Cereals category at Vape Summit 2015. They offer three juices in their range at present, the aforementioned The Voyage alongside The Abyss and The Traveler, with some fairly unusual and unique taste combinations. Coastal Clouds is mixed to a 70/30 PG/VG ratio, and is available in nicotine strengths of zero, 1.5mg, 3mg, 4.5mg, 6mg and 12mg...

The Abyss

Juicy and mouth-watering watermelon salt water taffy. Submerge yourself in summer anytime.

Having never tried salt water taffy before, even on my previous excursions to Florida, I must admit to being apprehensive at first about trying The Abyss, as I half expected it to contain a salty edge to it! Not so, the inhale is full of fresh tasting summery watermelon, and the exhale I found to actually be more on the sweet side, with a candied edge to it. The Abyss I found to be pretty tasty after I got over my initial apprehensions around the salt water taffy element!

The Voyage

A warm crunch berry rice crispy treat covered in gooey marshmallow. Prepare to embark on a fantastic voyage.

When first trying The Voyage I really didn’t understand all the buzz around this juice, I got a fairly strong lemon taste with a smooth exhale from it, but not a whole lot else. However, initially I’d been vaping it in a tank, and switching over to an RDA and thumping a bit of power through it really changed my opinion on The Voyage, and I eventually ending up loving this juice! After switching to an RDA and putting 40W through it, I really pick up on a mixed berry and citrussy inhale, followed up with a milky exhale and a generous amount of marshmallow. It’s very smooth at high wattage too, and makes for an incredibly moreish vape. Delicious stuff!

The Traveler

Refreshing Italian ice bursting with sweet blood orange, tropical mango and tart lemon. Follow your wanderlust.

Premier Ecigs

The Traveler has a wonderfully citrus vibe to it, a sweet blood orange so sharp that upon first taste I actually mistook it for grapefruit! Sweet mango actually takes away a little of that sharpness upon the exhale, with a hint of lemon in the background. There is also a hint of cooling menthol present in The Traveler, which rounds off this juice perfectly. It’s an extremely tasty citrus mix, that blends and mixes together perfectly, and it is quite unlike any citrus based concoction I have tried.

Conclusion

I’ve got to admit, when I first tried the Coastal Clouds juices in a tank, I was left a little disappointed, as the flavours felt a little flat to me. I was very excited to try these as the flavour profiles at first glance appealed to me greatly, I had my eye on trying The Voyage for a while now given all the positive buzz that had built around this juice. After grabbing a dripper, the flavour profiles of these exotic juices seemed to completely transform, and I found myself really enjoying all three from the Coastal Clouds range, I do believe these need an RDA to really shine and you will be rewarded with very distinct flavours and a healthy amount of vapour from the 70/30 VG/PG blend.

Coastal Clouds juices offer something a little new and unusual, and if dripping is your thing, these juices definitely won’t disappoint you!  The team at Coastal Clouds have given us the full range to give away as well - check out our competition here
