What’s in the Box?

The packaging is emblazoned with both the Vandy Vape and The Vaping Bogan logos, inside the box you get the Vandy Vape Bonza RDA, resin wide bore drip tip, 510 drip tip adaptor, spare cross head screws, spare O-rings, bottom feed pin, Allen key, screwdriver and a user manual.

Design and Build Quality

Manufactured from Stainless Steel, the Vandy Vape Bonza RDA is available in a range of four different colour finishes, and each has a lovely looking resin wide bore drip tip included! I received the Gold finish for review, and with the skull and crossbones logo on the front it really is a striking looking RDA!

The Bonza RDA measures in with a 24mm width, and it is fairly short too with a 25.5mm height excluding the drip tip and 510 connector. A 510 drip tip adaptor is included in the box should you wish to use drip tips with a narrower bore than the supplied wide bore resin drip tip.

At the base of the tank, Bonza RDA, a unique serial number and The Vaping Bogan’s signature are laser engraved on, and a 510 connector pin is installed as standard. This can be easily removed and switched out for the supplied BF pin if you want to use your Bonza RDA with a squonker.

I did have an issue whereby the top cap was extremely stiff and difficult to remove out of the box, however applying some high VG E-Liquid to the O-Rings helped to remedy this. The AFC was extremely stiff too, to the point where I couldn’t actually even turn it, again I needed to remove this and apply some VG to make it smoother!

Building the Vandy Vape Bonza RDA

As expected there is a large build deck present on the Bonza RDA with deep juice wells, this RDA is definitely built for big coils and with the amount of space you have here, it can easily accommodate them! You can shut one side of the airflow off to accommodate single coil builds too.

A two post build deck is present, with fixed screw clamp posts. Four screws are present on each post, and a single post hole is present on each post. A clamp is present at the base of each post.

Installing your coils is very easy in practice, one lead goes into the post hole and the other is clamped in at the base of the post. Your wick tails are placed in the juice wells, and if you have the BF pin installed the juice feeds directly into each well.

One of the screws in my Bonza RDA was too tight to remove from the post, no matter which flat head screwdriver I used! I needed a pair of needle nosed pliers to get it out in the end, which was slightly frustrating.

Airflow on the Bonza RDA is located on each side of the top cap, and it consists of 15 small airflow holes that can be finely adjusted with the AFC. Both sides can be left open, or one side can be closed off to use single coil builds.

The Bonza RDA is built for low resistance builds and high power, and it delivers excellent performance when you do so! I’ve been favouring a 0.15ohm dual Clapton coil build in there, at 90-110W.

The Electronic Cigarette Company

It handles high power very well indeed, with little noise coming from the airflow and a smoother draw than I expected! Flavour is pretty impressive, with a warm and tasty vape, and this can chuck clouds like no tomorrow!

For the price, the Bonza RDA delivers some huge cloud production and good flavour too! It’s easy to build on and can accommodate a wide variety of different coil builds. It’s a budget RDA that cloud chasers will love!
