Innokin Endura V

Pod kits are just getting better and better, so let's see how the Innokin Endura V fares

Share on:

The Innokin Endura V is designed to cater to beginner vapers seeking a straightforward and satisfying experience.
While being a nice, simple pod kit, the Endura V boasts fantastic flavour with a versatile pod range catering to a variety of vapers.

Design and Build

The Endura V boasts a sleek, compact design with six colour options, ensuring a stylish look. Its construction feels sturdy and well-made, suitable for everyday use.
Innokin sent me over four of their colour options and while they're all absolutely stunning, my favourite is either the white or silver. It's hard to put into words the colours, the silver is more like a mirror, it's honestly something you need to see with your own eyes to truly understand the beauty of this colourway.

The device itself is nice and lightweight so it's perfect to just pick up and drop it in your pocket or bag. I recently took these devices with me on my holiday and before I left my hotel, I had a choice of lugging around my box mod or taking one of these in my pocket. The choice was easy, with the Endura V in my pocket I knew I had a reliable pod kit that still packs a punch and delivers great flavour.

Battery and Performance

Equipped with a 1200mAh battery, the Endura V delivers reliable performance, lasting up to three days on a single charge. It operates up to 21W, ensuring a robust vaping experience. The device features a three-level battery indicator, making it easy to monitor battery life, it's the standard configuration that most pod kits have, green light, blue light and red light, so you know when to charge.

I used this as my sole device for nearly two weeks, and I was averaging nearly two days before needing to charge, and this was using it as my sole device for the majority of this time, impressive for something so small and light!

Pod and Coil System

The VCAP pods, available in three resistances (0.6Ω, 0.8Ω, and 1.2Ω), offer versatility and cater to different vaping preferences. These pods are designed for maximum flavour and longevity. The top-fill system is user-friendly and minimises mess, enhancing the overall convenience.

My personal go to pod during this review was the 0.8Ω pod paired with a bottle of nic salts. I've used a fair few pod kits in my time but this honestly delivers some of the best flavour I've had in my hands.

If you're looking for something a bit cloudier, the 0.6Ω delivers. I'd recommend using a freebase nicotine in this pod as I think it may be a bit too much vapour for a salt based liq.

Airflow and Usability

The precision 3-hole airflow control allows for customizable vaping experiences, whether you prefer a tighter or looser draw. This feature is particularly beneficial for those who enjoy mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping, which simulates the draw of a traditional cigarette.
I found myself keeping this with around 1-2 holes open for the airflow as I found that to be my sweet spot, my partner preferred just the one open when she was using her Endura. Having the adjustable slider is my preferred method of airflow control on a pod kit compared to some others that use the flipping the pod around method, I personally usually don't see any difference with this method, so I find it a bit pointless, the more granular control you get with the adjustable slider actually makes a noticeable difference and provides more flexibility depending on what your preference is.

Additional Features

The Endura V is designed with simplicity in mind, making it accessible for beginners. The hassle-free operation and straightforward maintenance make it a great entry point for those new to vaping. This isn't a kit you'd buy if you're looking for customizable features, but I think that's part of the appeal of this for me, I can pick it up, does my pod have a liquid? Yes? Great. Chuck it in my pocket and I'm off for the day. When I have a particularly busy day what more could I ask for?

Conclusion

In summary, the Innokin Endura V is a well-rounded vaping device, ideal for beginners seeking an uncomplicated and effective MTL vaping experience. Its combination of ease of use, battery life, and flavour production makes it a solid choice for new vapers.

While this is still a great device for advanced users to pair with a more complicated device to have as a safe, reliable back up for any situation. Even if you're the type of person to prefer something a bit more complicated, it's great to just have this in your bag or pocket to get a quick nic hit when you don't have the time to be getting out your mod.

Many thanks to Innokin for sending in the Endura V kit for review!

I was a smoker for almost 15 years, I tried vaping a cheap vape pen but was quickly back on the death sticks. Fast forward to discovering the Xros pod devices from my mother-in-law(!) I've now completely given up and vaping pretty much whenever I'm not sleeping
