I mixed this at the same time as I mixed up Perfumers Apprentice Mango. The flavour was available from about 7%, but I went up to 14% before I got what I wanted. It was there and very authentic but muted. I added just under 2.5% ethyl maltol to the final mix and it was enough to add some brightness. The vape tastes as it should, a good mango flavour without any artificiality and about as sweet as mango fruit; at lower voltages with little heat, really refreshing Of the two flavours I preferred this one, but there’s not a huge amount in it and if you prefer the PA one, that’s better value for money, even if it needs slightly more concentrate.

28p per ml is in my upper quartile of costs and at 14% this is not a cheap mix. Very nice though and mangos aren’t the cheapest of fruits. The Perfumers Apprentice competitor was 18p per ml and needed 16.5%. I would personally use this for a mango only vape, but as a secondary flavour (e.g. in ice cream) – use the PA competition.
Use as a mixing ingredient
