My guess is it's the "new easy-to-go interface". Quite what that means will no doubt become clear when videos of this mod surface.

I doubt @Healthcabin have any more information as yet, but they may be able to get in touch with Joyetech to find out? [emoji6]

Just got primo mini, hoping it's not an updated one. They did that with original primo, couple months after release they brought out new model which fixed 510 issues and had a few more watts thrown in.lol

Sounds like it might be aimed more at new vapers, as a starter mod. Perhaps they thought the normal interface was putting newbies off, who knows?
