This is very generous, which gets me thinking - perhaps it could be a good idea if mods can blag some gear and give it out to forum members for a month at a time? Pick the next user randomly and get the last person who had it to forward it on?

Would be a cool thing to do collectively as a forum!

That's almost kinda like what the Pay It Forward thread should be about...but some people don't offer much up and it dies.

Likewise, someone could be passed a decent mod and just piss off to another forum.

Yea I know that there's a fair amount of risk involved, then maybe it should be a case of donate something if interest yourself to receive another? Either that or set up a refundable joining fee of £20 or something? You can then use the share service and get your money back if you decide to leave providing you've given all goods back to the group?
