Match crowd catches falling cat in a flag

I hear in the post trauma report the vet declared the cat had the cleanest bowel and tightest sphincter he'd ever come across...

I guess he can only do that another eight times then, right.

Cats, much like squirrels and racoons, can fall a considerable height without sustaining serious injury. As soon as it lost its grip it turned around and splayed its body for its fall. Lots of videos out there about the mechanism behind how they land. Quite fascinating. Many humans can't even fall out of bed without hurting themselves. :18:

"While cats have been known to fall from over 30 stories and survive, it's not very common or thoroughly researched. That being said, studies suggest cats can fall as far as 20 stories, over 200 feet, and survive with little to no injuries."

Racoon bailing from 9th floor.

And a squirrel from the 21st floor.
