there is always that extra special award of vendor of the year as well.
i cant remember if it was all the winners put into another vote or just open a special one off poll for voting.

I've been trying to control my spending so haven't been purchasing anything . I don't feel it's right to vote for someone when I haven't used them in that month regardless of how good the service has been when I've used them before

Yes, that was it, at the end of the year there was a vote of all vendors who had won to decide the ultimate vendor.

Yup, can be nominated any number of times but once they have won that is it until the next year.

It's not a vote on who's best of the rest, it's the best, period.

You seem to forget that all the vendors are different in what and how they sell. Some vendors and, understandably, popular vendors, are juice vendors.
Other vendors may specialise in, say, batteries or coils. Other vendors may offer a bit of everything.
Ideally votes should be in classifications. So Juice vendor of the Month, General vendor of the Month etc.

Would be good to hear from forum members who are not hyperactive to see what they would like.

Regarding the voting I think that possibly a vendor only being able to win once a year could maybe do with a review. Yes there are vendors on here who have massive followings, but my understanding of it is that a major factor in them having such a following is that they provide a good service in the first place? I dunno- maybe I'm off the mark. Maybe if a vendor wins then they can't be considered for the next month, but then they're back on the month after?

I think, by whatever means the gaffers think are practical, more participation would be better, otherwise it will lose its prestige.

We're a big old group. Getting recognition as a top vendor on here should mean something.
