Ni 200 Clapton coil advice

Got. me a steam crave squonker and wanted to try TC, but it's only for for Ni.

I'm looking to build a Clapton of fused Clapton.

I've got 24, 26 & 29awg Ni but only 26awg in kanthal.

From what I've read most suggest using 33awg as the kanthal needs to have the higher resistance.

But I'm thinking that the kanthal wrapped around the 26awg Ni200 would be fine, what do you with the greater knowledge think?

Or of anyone can recommend a build please.

26 wrapped on 26 would give you a beast of a coil but to Clapton effectively it would need to be a smaller diameter wire for the outer wrap to the inner otherwise it would most likely just twist up, at least that's what i would expect to happen, I haven't tried it myself just done 30awg around 26awg.
