Resistance query

So I built my first coil a Kanthal 28g coil twisted, 5 wraps, 2.2 mm ID. Mounted on a SXK Kayfun V5 clone.
Sometimes the mod says .55 resistance. But sometimes it also shows 1.0 ohm. Vape tool coil app says this wire build is supposed to be .5 ohm.
I noticed I get better vape at 1 ohm. very smooth, enjoyabls mtl vape, exacly what I like.
While at .5 resistance the flavor is much intense and higher throat hit.

What's going on?

have you checked the screws holding the coil are as tight as they can be as sounds like loose connection on one of the posts?

Yup, loose connection somewhere.

3rd vote for something needing tightening somewhere.

Also try a fused clapton at about 0.6 0.7ish.

Check the coils are not touching anything, chimney posts etc, but most likely loose connection.

Screws seem to be pretty tight.

It could be but it could also be you have snapped a tale with one of the screws try stripping it down and recoiling it again [emoji4]
