Help buying a new kit plz

Hi just wondering if anyone had any advice please i am quite new and looking for help to buy a new kit for my son as a present
when he used to vape before he used to like the Alien brand if that is correct lol and lots of clouds if i go to the vape shops they seem to quick rush me and talk me into buying anything i dont want so looking for some advise please

I was looking at the deals on here and seen this is it any good and what bottom would i need for this
SMOK TFV16 Sub Ohm Tank 9ml

I do know i want a tank bigger than 2ml, A good wattage good battery life and battery included, I am just looking for a decent starter kit thats all in so dont have to buy like extras/battery chargers etc i am not looking to spend loads anything from about £40 to £70

He also used to like 3mg desert type liquids any advice on brands

Hi @molly and welcome to the forum.
I'm not a huge clouds kind of vaper so I'm not the best person to advise on what kit to buy but someone will be along with some advice soon I'm sure. However, if he likes dessert type liquids then I'd really advise you to look at Prime Vapes.

If he likes lots of clouds and wants good battery life then I'd highly recommend the Geek Vape Aegis Legend Kit.

The tank will be 2ml to meet current guidelines but it comes with a 5ml spare in the box (which is about as big as you'll get these days).

You'll also need 2 x 18650 batteries, and whilst it can be charged via USB it's generally recommended to buy an external charger which you can get for around £10 - £15.

I personally think this is a better option in the long run than a mod with an internal battery, however if you really want to avoid replaceable batteries then another kit to look at is the VooPoo Drag Mini:

Smok are a very hit or miss brand these days, so I think most people would suggest avoiding them.

As for liquids, if he likes desserts then I highly recommend the Supergood Butter range and Dr Fog's Worlds Best range. You'll find these cheapest on https://vaping101.co.uk/ (along with batteries, if you decide to go that route).

Also, two sites to avoid which will likely come up in your Google searches are ecigwarehouse.co.uk and djvape.co.uk - these may look UK based but if you read the Trustpilot reviews you'll see they drop ship from China.

I would recommend the Vaporesso Gen S kit. The tank you get with it goes up to about 85 watts with the gt meshed coil and gives plenty of clouds. He could always put a smok tank on it if he didn't like it as well.

for built in battery i would go for Vaporesso Gen nano only down dide is it only goes upto 80w & most internal battery mods are going to be about the same.

As far as a kit there is always the freemax maxus 200 metal edition. That will get him a kit with the best coils.

The Freemax Fireluke Pro 2 tank that you get with the Maxus 200 kit takes coils that go up to about 120w if you buy the quad coils and the Freemax stuff is generally better quality than Smok.
