Comment about Q4 - As a smoking alternative I found a rechargeable cig-a-like the most effective but I don't really class my clearomisers and rebuildables as such. I'm not being pedantic or fussy but vaping has become a whole different kettle of fish to smoking.

Accepted, but for the purpose of demonstrating the social benefit and success of switching, I feel the degree of satisfaction as an alternative to smoking is valuable to measure.

And just to say, I started vaping at 2nd gen level (ego/ce4), skipped the lookilikes, so you might want to ask that question as well.

That is shown by the Q on what people started, used on their journey and use now

In contrast with the ASH findings amongst all vaping types (where total switching was only 33%), people using more advanced kit (that is threatened under TPD) have around a 98% rate of switching based on initial findings and that 3rd generation ecigs are rated by far the most effective smoking alternative
