popcorn lung ?

I thought workers got Popcorn lung after years of inhaling insane amounts of diacetyl , i doubt 100ml of e-liquid could contain enough to cause popcorn lung

It was never proven, the Doctors/Scientists at the time never tested they assumption. They assumed that because Diacetyl was the most prevalent compound in the air of the Popcorn factory it must have been the cause, it was not. There were other substances present, but as it was never tested we will never know. What we do know is that ejuice, vaping and smoking does not cause Popcorn Lung.
