Evening everyone. Just after some advice

I've recently bought a 20700 3000mah 30A molicel battery to use in a mech mod. The resistance of the dual build I'll be using will be 0.26 and when I'm entering the Information in the calculator it's saying the power will be over a 1000 Watts?! Is that correct? As I thought 0.26 on a dual build was safe

Very new to all this myself and i don't know the battery, but a .26 ohm coil will pull around 16amps at 4.2V/70W

Use steam engine to work out battery drain.

Check your figures should look like this [emoji6]

Volts/Resistance = Amps.

So a 0.26 ohm build will pull 16.15 amps from a fully charged battery (4.2 volts).

Interestingly, these can, for certain values, be easy calculations to do in your head, if you are so inclined.

1 ohm : 4.2/1 = 4.2 amps.
(how many 1s in 4.2)?

0.5 ohms : 4.2/0.5 = 8.4 amps
(how many halves in 4.2)?

0.25 ohms : 4.2/0.25 = 16.8 amps
(how many quarters in 4.2)?

0.125 ohms : 4.2/0.125 = 33.6 amps
(how many eighths in 4.2)?

0.1 ohms : 4.2/0.1 = 42 amps
(how many tenths in 4.2)?

See the pattern? :)

Thanks for the replies lads. On fogstar it wasn't telling me the voltage of the battery but I thought it would be the perfect battery for the build which it is going by the replies

Bought some 18650 Samsung 30q's as well which I'm looking forward to trying

Went for the rx Machina kit with the guillotine RDA
