MTL Resistance

Eyup.

Why can't I get a resistance of above 1.00 on me MTL? It's a 3Vape Savour. Got 5 full wraps of SS316L in there right now. Tried Kanthal, Ni80... Allsorts in all manner of ways. Can never get it above 0.80 on a good day.

Any tips? And this Coilology SS is a bugger to wind.

What wire gauge and coil diameter are you using?

Should be able to top 2ohms easily with ka1...

What's the gauge of the core wires?
Maybe theyre too thin.

7 wraps 3mm id 27g kanthal will give you 1.2 ohms....this I know

Sorry. Should have said. It's a 2.5 diameter coil. And the gear in this particular build is the stuff in the photo. I can't see the gauge on it, but I think I ordered 26ga. As I said, I have used a variety of wire previously.

If you tried that build and it didn't go over 0.8 then something your end is broken.

Ss is lower resistance. 5 wraps 28awg kanthal with 2.5 inner diameter is around 1 ohm. 6 wraps 1.2 ohm
