Dark Mesh Coil

I have a Wotofo Profile RDA version 1.
Is normal that the mesh coil gets dark after 2 days. Please see picture.
What can I do?

The picture is 1 day old.

Yeah mine usually darken around the centre, isn't a problem and doesn't really affect the vape, can give it a run under a tap and dry burn it off if it is affecting the flavour though.

I use 6mm cotton. Should be enough?

Same here. Sweet juice does it or hotspots. If the mesh is slightly out of shape it can happen. Take out the mesh and reform the shape. Dry burn, rewick and toot toot toot till you can't see the ceiling.

I pancake wick the RDA. Works for me.

I don't have the RDA but have a clone of the unity RTA about 6mm seems ok on that. Reminds me, I need some more mesh, thanks. :-D

Look like a little hot spot to me. Not a bit problem with that. Try dropping the power just a bit (5-7w)

About wicking that, this is what Wotofo recommend:

I always did it that way on my Profile 1.5 and always was good. Very forgiving.
