Which center pin for mech mods

I resently tried out mech mods, and i currently run the Asguard mini with the Tauren 21700 mech mod.
Included in the package for the Asguard there is a copper center pin with a flat head. Should i use that on my mech mod or just screw in the small screw on the gold center pin to block the squonk mode ?

you'll be better of using the solid copper pin for use on a mech
