Punching holes into a mini carto

I took delivery of some Mini Carto's today in anticipation of receiving the IB Tanked 'Halfling' I bought earlier this week and before I take the hole punch to them was wondering if there were any tips or tricks, do's or donts that I should be aware of.

measure where the bottom cap of the tank comes to when fully assembled


pop it just above that line

Oh and make sure for thicker liquids the hole is bigger and dont pierce the inner air flow tube
