Drop dead RDA build.

Hey people I have dug out my drop dead rda and trying to get myself back into it again. Am just wondering what is the best placement for a duel coil setup. Some people say but the coils close to the sides next to airflow. Some people say to put them close together in the middle of the deck. Also have the coils high or low to the deck?. This is for the best flavour possible from this rda. Can anyone help?

I’m guessing since it’s been so long since you first wrote this post, that you have probably through trial and error found the results you want. I found the best results for me are with the coils positioned in line with the air holes and placed 3 or 4 mm from them (air holes), also I find that having half the holes blocked works better.

I tried both methods and coils closer together worked best for me, airflow goes under and up through the gap, to get the very best out of it I squonk in Temp Control, I wasn't impressed with it without TC as it struggled to keep up with the wicking.

As @Budgieuk01 says closing half the airflow gives a nice balanced draw.
