I'm looking at storage ideas mainly for home for my equipment, and thought the aluminium cases with the foam that can be cut out would make a great case and display and have the added safety of being able to lock.

Was looking for feedback on if this would be a good idea or what storage solutions do other users use?

Looks good Mark and you can modify to fit your gear. Mind you the rate I change my stuff I'd be cutting foam all day.

I think there was a thread on storage a while back.

I am also looking for something suitable but, as I never throw anything away, I am looking for something with many and varied drawers so I can separate my drip tips, bungs, cotton buds, cartos etc OCD or what !!!

Maplins does a case with the cantilever trays, I am hoping to get for xmas as my stuff is now taking up 3 shelves above my desk, a small aluminum make up case, and a couple of little boxes!
