Hey all, I've mainly been using built in battery pod mods for my mtl needs, currently using artery pal 2 pro with the airflow dialled down. I'm looking for a 18650 pod mod which will give me a true mtl experience, I'm mainly looking for this because I'm constantly having to charge my device. Any suggestions will be really helpful. Thank you.

calling @DeeDee who is our pod queen.

im loving the vaporesso PM80 but that has built in but the newer PM80SE is 80watts and takes a single 18650 battery.

Not sure there are any 18650 pod mods that are truly MTL. Maybe an AIO like the Thinkvape Zeta.

Hi

Not had a pod with a 18650

You could try the Zeta as Rew suggested thats an excellent device or the Omega which is also made by Think Vape.

The pm80 SE is superb but its more for DTL or restrictive dtl. If you enjoy the artery pal pro dialled down then the pm80 is not suitable imo.

Look at the Zeta, Omega. Or the artery pal 18650 kit?

I really haven't tried many 18650 Pod devices as there aren't many that are true mtl

Thank you for the suggestions, il have a little look see.

Also, if you are comfortable using a tank and mod check out the GTX One kit by Vaporesso. I always use pods but i have been using this kit a lot for the last 5 days and its awesome. Very comfortable and compact.

there is a snowolf offering from one of the chinese vendors with a less than $10 sale price if you fancy a punt.

The Pm80 solution to providing both MTL and DTL vapes is the use of silicone plugs to bung up air ways, and they are quite small and fiddly, lost one of mine day 1, good job i like an airy draw ;)
Ah that afeng pro doesn't have wattage control and that's a bit of a must for me, I think they missed a trick there, it looks very nice but no wattage control is a deal breaker. I think I'm gonna end up getting the artery pal 18650 that was suggested, I've got a Hellvape Grimm aswell and I love the coils on that, and it looks as though the coils are interchangeable too

Ah yeah I've got loads of box mods and subohm tanks so I'm all good on that front, I do like vaporesso devices I have a gen and polar, how is the flavour from the coils?

Sorry for the bum steer, i had a look see when i saw the vendor post earlier and recalled the single 19650 feature and the price ;)

Of course there are always billet boxes at the other end of the cost scale ;)
the skx clones with dna chipsets are considered better than the originals in some ways (by those that know ..)
but the poormans version is the dotaio
https://www.vapeclub.co.uk/vape-pods/dotmod/dotaio-kit
If looking at a fully featured aio i would opt for a skx billet box clone with a dna tc chipset like https://www.cabinmods.com/billet-box-sxk-stuff/615-sxk-billet-box-dna-60.html

** dotaio and dna BB links ARE NOT recommended sellers, just examples of the products lifted from the top of google lookups..
