Stepping into the build world

Guess minicoil app is on iPhone? Found vapers toolbox as an android alternative. Looks great as tells you exactly how much wire to cut for a target resistance. Given up for the eve but hopefully more joy tomorrow.

Its in the play store , I'm on android, I'll see if I can post a link

Well got myself some 30guage (as that is all my local had) and batteries for my mechs,

Let's see if I can do better

Coming in at 0.9ohm and lovely flavour and lovely clouds on my Origiin clone.

Very happy with my second attempt, thanks for the advice, I'm sure I'll need more in time to come lol.

.3 kenthal with 7 wraps @2mm dia

First build on the TOBH came in at 0.6Ω on .3 kanthal.

I did try with .25 but 4 wraps was just a little too fiddly for now.

My coils literally touch, getting the outside wraps to behave can sometimes be tricky but pulsing the coil and then squeezing it with mini pliers or tweezers normally helps resolve that. Don't squeeze the coil whilst your pressing the button ;)

+1 for the pliers. I'm very new to this but was shown by a shop to squeeze the coils a bit with pliers when still glowing. Even as a noob, I never get any hotspots and after just a couple of tiny squeezes, the coils glow symmetrically.

Wish I could have more luck with my rsbt just can't get the wick right :s

What wick and coil are you using?

I have a 1.2 ohm micro coil wicked with cotton wool in mine and it's lovely. I find that you do need to use quite a bit of the cotton wool, it should be a tight squeeze to get the cotton through the coil, then screw the chimney on and trim the cotton so that there is about 1-2mm of it picking through the juice channel in the chimney. Then moisten the cotton wool with e liquid and push the bits of the wick that poke out of the chimney back against the chimney before screwing on the glass tank, that way they don't catch the threads. Fill with e liquid, take a couple of primer puffs then your good to go.

Hi I do have a working build now I put a little less cotton in and tried to make sure it wasn't too tight thru the juice holes and put some cotton in the bottom as some had suggested been sweet for a whole tank no dry hits no flooding awesome flavour canes my batteries tho lol

Right have ordered some 18650 tubes for my SIDs now should help extend times between battery changes :)
