Parallel Kanthal 24Ga A1 9 wrap build

Think i got the wicking just right on this one, the airflow is great. Not the most uniform build but it works decently.

I hope that's not gonna end up on a mech at some point, ramp up will be a bitch and I'd suspect will burn through cotton on cool down. Just go buy some 24AWG Nichrome and be happy

No I just made this for my regulated mod to experiment with a parallel coil until my mech arrives

My batteries wouldnt be able to handle 0.24ohms lol

You'd still be better served putting the kanthal away and using nichrome.

I have fused clapton nichrome 80 which is 26ga cores and 36ga wrap which i use for most builds but i used kanthal for this one because hopefully my mech arrives soon and i wont be using this coil then and i had a lot of kanthal so i thought id try building a parallel with it

Using it at 120 watts it works pretty well on my reg mod. Youre right though ramp up time sucks ass on reg mods...
