Organic or safe to use cotton.

Where can I get organic or safe to use cotton wool? I've looked in Wilko, sainsburys and superdrug :( they all say 100% cotton, but is it ok to use?

100% Cotton is not organic, although many used to use this until "Organic" came along. A Google will give you several results for organic cotton balls which will be a starting point, although I recommend the brand "Simply Gentle" Organic Balls. I noticed a big difference in taste for the better from 100% Cotton to 100% Organic
 
I get mine from my local health food shop. £2 for 100g. Saves using amazon and I get a laugh at the hippies.
I suppose you can boil the sainsburys cotton if you have the patience..

Went with simply gentle from Holland and Barrett. Not a bad price, except my first order didn't go through :( so paid twice, will sort that out tomorrow.
 
I got my organic cotton from Boots. Was quite the quest finding the damn stuff.
