Mechs and batteriesd

Does it matter which way the battery goes in a mech mod? Reason I ask is just put a nipple top batt in my hammer and I cant screw the button back in without it firing continuously, I've put the batt in the other way round (nipple away from button) and it seems to be working ok.

by my understanding, if you have nipples and a hammer then it should go in the way you have put it in already, i.e. you have doen the right thing.

and no, it doesnt matter in a mech mod..whatever floats your boat and works is good
