Magma - no airflow

My magma turned up today from FT and there is zero airflow! I have taken the airflow ring off, given it a good clean, and it seems like the air holes on the side and not drilled through to meet the air holes under the coils. It's not just a tight airflow, it's literally no airflow at all.

It was worth a try, I know the ring can close off the holes when it is upside down. Do you have a dremmel?

I have access to a drill but I don't think I have a bit small enough and I wouldn't have a clue what I'm doing!

Think I'll have to raise a ticket with FT and look for one to buy in the uk

It should be a 2.5mm bit, if that helps.

The Vamo is great and I'm getting better and better results with the kayfun.

I've just taken a drill to the magma and it's just not doing anything. Not even making a mark on the metal. The holes aren't even slightly linked. Just a big chunk of metal where the airhole should be.

Gutted as gonna have to spend more on a replacement now from the uk

Cobalt drill bits help a lot with drilling stainless steel.
