Had my first Short on a mech squonker. Scary 2 seconds.

Cool, seems like I bought the best one then did you ever find a video online just for cleaning or just work it out yourself?

I watched a quick vid by Mark Todd. It isn't overly difficult, just fiddly with some small parts you need to be careful with (springs).

I fried a few batteries with shorts and melted a mech switch spring twice on different mods mainly because i could never remember to use the locking mechanism, I will only use mechs with recessed switches now. Having watched a vid where a cell was deliberately shorted to the point it vents and later explodes it took longer than I thought it would which is small consolation if you find 400degree liquid dripping into your turn-ups
