Hey guys,
I'm not sure if this goes here so forgive me if it's in the wrong place.
As the title suggests i want to get started with RDA and RDTA mods, more preferably RDTAs. Reason being is because i assume with the tank i won't have to constantly drip juice onto the cotton and the tank will do that for me.

What i want to know is, is there any kits i can buy that you recommend? do i need anything besides said kit to get started? and just some general advice around how to get started with this style of vaping will be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

after your rdta, you will either need the route of premade coils, or wire to coild your own.
Coiling can be simply winding on a drill bit, screwdriver or with a coil jig.
Using steam engine to calculate required ohms helps, but a seperate ohm meter is a good bet too.
Cotton for your wicks, whichever type floats you boat.
Allen key/screwdriver for whatever your rdta posts require, snips or nail clippers for cutting coils, scissors for cutting wick, ceramic tweezers for pinching coils
Maybe something I have missed too, you can buy a kit with most stuff in Coil master amoungst others make them

Youtube is a gold mine for build tutorials. Once you find a rdta you like, search for build vids for it to get an idea of what you should be doing.

Do you know what sort of rdta you are looking for. ?
If you go for a "normal" one then they come in various sizes from 2 ml to about 8 ml . I have the Wotofo Serpent rdta and really like it. The included coil gives reasonable flavour as well. It's a single coil atty and has about a 2 ml tank underneath which obviously needs topping up quite regularly.
Ijoy/limitless also do various much larger capacity tanks but are usually dual coil set ups which are going to require more power.
Steamcrave aromamizers are also worth a look at.
If you want an rdta that comes with a bottom feed pin so you can put it on a squonker mod then I would certainly recommend the Cthulhu Gaia rdta.
Which one you get will depend on what mod you currently have unless you are willing to buy a new one.

Good advice above, if you are looking for a "kit" meaning a mod with an RD(T)A doubt there are many to recommend. Better to get them separately. Do you already have a mod?

I already have a mod, but i don't know if it's very good, i have the SMOK Micro One R80 TC

Might not have enough staying power for running an rdta, but will probably turn into a stealth mod, backups are always handy

UPDATE: I bought two mechanical mods and two RDAs waiting on delivery

I also bought 50 premade 0.4ohm coils and some cotton as well as 4 LG HE2 20a batteries

i hope i invested well.

Please make sure you watch lots of YouTube videos and read up on battery safety and ohm's law... Those are unregulated mods so should you build too low it will draw too much current from your batteries and you risk blowing them up
