Best cotton?

I don't understand why price is a factor for so many.

Cotton is the cheapest part of a vaper's outlay, and a £6 pack of premium, specialist wicking material will last anybody 6 months.

I guess if Muji works for you there's no reason to change, but there are many alternatives that are better in many ways.

I agree ment. I'm on the look out currently for another cellulose based wicking material for when the dwindling stock of fiber freaks finally gives out.
It's always been my go to when I get a fussy deck as it wicks easily even with my bumbling fingers.

Shake and Vape claims to be 100% cotton, but it must be highly processed because it looks and feels like cellucotton to me. I haven't used anything else for a while now.

I have one pack of FF left which I may keep as a souvenir.

Muji cotton is good. but it is not very suitable for vaping. I used it once. Now I still use bacon.

Why do you think it's not very suitable for vaping? I don't use Muji, but the other brand that's pretty similar. I find it really good.

It doesn't wick very well so you get dry hits, it doesn't hold juice well so is liable to flooding and it's poor for flavour.

But you do get enough to stuff a pillow for about 50p.

Interesting, admittedly I've not tried the more expensive types of cotton that at marketed for vaping, but I find the japanese cotton excellent, I use it in all my tanks and never get any dry hits or flooding if they are wicked right and the flavour, to me, is really good, unless I use them too long and don't rebuild/rewick when I need to.

So I wonder, then if the fancy vapors by cotton might produce better flavour? Cause this is the only claim I can't really verify or refute. I've never tried it. It probably won't tempt me to buy it, though. And apart from anything else, I have enough square pads to stuff a pillow..!

I find Muji is fine provided you tease it out well so other cottons can be more convenient but I like Muji mostly because it's easier to make equal wicks for dual coils.
