I use NiFe30 in mine, 2.5mm.

Simple kanthal build, 27g, 2.5 ID, 6 wraps. Just under 1 ohm

Quite similar to @rew - 28AWG kanthal, 2.5mm ID, 7/8 wrap micro coil at around 1.3 ohms.

I use it a lot. I change the setting to adjust the throat hit to taste and according to mood, both up and down, but I tend to like it screwed down mostly.

Until it's banging off the ceiling 3 slotted pin and one hole on the AFC open.

I've got the 7 slotted 510, all afc holes open and it's like sucking a golf ball thru a straw.

Think I'm gonna have to raise the coil up. Too low must choke off all the airflow.
