Subtank plus coil build help

Built first one yesterday, vapes not too bad although was wicking a lil slow it tasted good.

Decided to try again today and the three iv done have tasted burnt?

Been using 28 awg kanthal round 2mm.

Any help would be appreciated

sounds like your getting the wicking wrong to me. have you looked at some tutorials on youtube? sometimes seeing someone do something is easier that someone trying to explain.

what ohms were the coils? what watts were you putting through them? if you can stick a pic up then people might be able to work out whats up

Hey DJ, I'm new to the mini too and a great build is three strands of 28g kanthal twisted then wrapped 5 times on a 2.5 mm rod. Ive only been at it for about 2 weeks but my favourite is this alien coil. 3 strands of 28g kanthal wrapped with 34g comes in at 0.3 ohms and is amazing....! A Clapton with 1 strand of 28g wrapped with 28g is great too....

Get the new base. Never got it working great with the base it came with. Now it's the only tank I use cause it's working perfectly.

New base has better airflow then the old one but imo its still not as good as the i sub tank airflow
