Next project but could do with some ideas.

I've managed to find some rectangular aluminium box which is 77mm tall and just enough width to cram a 75C board, 510, and home fashioned 18650 battery sled/contacts inside.

I've sorted the panels and everything else except I can't decide on the finish.

I've looked into anodising and it looks like far too much hassle.

I could wrap it and have some two tone and black carbon wrap.
Or I could powder/plastic coat it but I've not done aluminium before only lead so not sure how well it would take until I've done a tester.

It needs something cos aluminium is too soft and will dent and scratch too easily

Anyone know any other methods or ideas I could look into first.
 
It's ready to put together with the exception of fine sanding the panels and some sort of aluminium coating.

You can get anodizing kits on ebay.

Think they are similar to self plating kits for nicol
