so I wanted to do something all flash on Instagram

but I had a number of problems the sun was bright I couldn't see the plates because the sun was full bore on them, so stuck the glasses on then couldn't see a dam thing

so failed all round

Very nice faceplates...are you making them to sell ?
By the way, last time I saw gloves like that was on the Black & White Minstrels Show [emoji16]

As a rule I don’t make faceplates to sell as I’m tight and miserable

But really each plate is designed for each mod so it’s very tricky to do

They have screws so I can service the mod if you bond them on and the boards fails it’s hammer time

The glove was a nice touch I’ve seen it done lots of modmakers use them to display the mod in reality I won’t use it again as you look a dork but you have to try

nickel gilt is copper plate then nickel plate then flash plated in gold plate 9ct it will rub off

hard gold is copper with a harder layer of nickel the 2 microns of 18ct gold plated on top it may wear off in the end but it will last a long time
