Cool ! how's it done then ?

Turn tube upside down so flange that holds top plastic cap is in the bit that you cut off.

Machine end cap and tube so they are a mega tight push fit.

Machine end cap down in height.

Alter spring so it recoils into end cap.

Battery is now changed by removing tube from head.

Easy.
