Smokjoy Club 50 Micro Kit
The Club 50 Micro Kit features the Club 50 mod and the Air 22 tank. The Club 50 mod is manufactured from Zinc Alloy and Stainless Steel, and it measures in at 84mm long by 22mm wide. A spring loaded 510 connector is found at the top, and it supports resistance down to 0.2ohm, so you can use atomisers other than the supplied Air 22 tank. A 1600 mAh battery is built in, which is rechargeable through the micro USB port.
A very cool feature with the Club 50 mod is that there is a clear LED screen at the bottom, with two buttons either side that allow you to adjust wattage or voltage. Many similar devices do not have this option, and simply opt for a fixed power output. The Club 50 features adjustable wattage from 7-50W, or 2-8V in voltage mode. Three clicks of the power button allows you to switch between wattage or voltage, as well as displaying resistance and battery percentage. Five clicks of the power button allows you to turn the device on and off. You also have safety features built in such as automatic power failure protection, short circuit protection, low resistance protection and overheating protection.
I have come across the Air tank previously, when I reviewed the Smokjoy Air 50s Micro Kit. With the Club 50 Micro Kit, you get the Air 22 version, which is virtually the same but has a 3ml capacity instead of 2ml, and a slightly different airflow system. The Air 22 is constructed from Stainless Steel, with a glass tank section, it has a removable drip tip so you can use your own drip tips if you prefer, and threaded top filling, you can refill the tank by unscrewing the top cap. Adjustable airflow is found at the base of the Air 22 tank, there are four airflow slots found around the base of the tank, and these are adjusted by rotating the airflow control ring. You also have two 0.6ohm coils supplied with the kit, for use with the Air 22 tank.
Overall, the Club 50 Micro Kit feels great in hand, it has been manufactured well and is easy to operate, it’s small and fits in your pocket easily, and it is lightweight too. Performance wise, the Club 50 mod has plenty of power for a small tube shaped mod, with up to 50W available, and the 1600 mAh battery kept me going the whole day off a single charge. The Air 22 tank provides pretty decent flavour, wicking juices up to 80VG very well indeed, and there is ample airflow available too. My own preference was to use the Air 22 tank in the 35-38W range dependent on juice, however it was able to cope up to the maximum 50W.
I’ve found the Club 50 Micro Kit to be a very good little device to use as a backup on a day to day basis, it is easy enough just to chuck it in my bag or have it in the car, and it has done the job perfectly whilst I have been using it.
Conclusion
Smokjoy’s Club 50 Micro Kit is a solid option for those that are looking for a discreet set up, that offers good battery life and a pretty hefty amount of power. It’s a decent little option to have as a back up device, and it’s also something that new vapers could get on with as it is very easy to use and has adjustable power too. Performance wise, I can’t have any complaints, the Club 50 Micro Kit has served me well whilst I have been testing it out!
