WuKong V10000 by SKE MEMERS Vape

MEMERS Vape are powering onto the scene with the WuKong 10000 big puff future proof kit

Share on:

Jhanlos at SKE MEMERS Vape sent a big bundle of their WuKong V10000 devices over for me to have a pop at.

MEMERS Vape is a new brand from SKE, the makers of the popular Crystal Bar disposables, and they go down the same route of flavour heavy vapes that Crystal Bar are known and loved for. The difference that I can see is that MEMERS Vape have a more diverse range of products, from disposables to refillable and replaceable pod devices, and their disposables have a much bigger capacity that you’d get from Crystal Bar.

The WuKong V10000 is a replaceable pod device with 10ml of 20mg salt nic juice in a pod that you fit onto a 2ml coil pod. The device itself has a large 1000mAh internal battery that should last you all day, and there’s a battery level indicator, so you know when it’s time to charge up via the USB Type C connector on the bottom.

Upon opening the box, you’re face with three different plastic sleeves, with different aspects of the V10000 in them. There’s the battery section, which has the mouthpiece insert and a recyclable plastic insert in it that gets replaced by the coil pod that comes in a different plastic sleeve. Finally, there’s the juice pod, which is made of coloured plastic to reflect the flavour, for instance the mint one is green and the blue razz one is blue.

The whole device is nicely rounded and reasonably thick to house the 1000mAh battery. On the bottom is the USB Type C slot and an airflow hole that you could cover to get a tighter draw with. There’s MEMERS branding on one side, with the battery indicator and WuKong V10000 branding on the other. The whole thing is in a tube with gradient colouring, again that reflects the flavouring inside the pod.

Assembling is easy enough, get all the plastic sleeves off, take out all the little rubber bungs from the various holes, remove the plastic insert in the battery tube, then line up the coil pod, insert and click on the juice pod. Add the mouthpiece and you’re ready to go after leaving it for a few minutes for the cotton to saturate.

The whole thing screams replaceable to me and from the marketing info Memers are going down that route, rather than leaving it as a one and done throwaway. The 2ml dual mesh coil pods are a novel way to go about bypassing the TPD regulations. They’re separate, and the juice pods are nice and compact as well, leaving a device overall that could be a disposable killer if the market is there for them. In fact, looking at the marketing page for the WuKongV10000, there are boxes of bundled together coil pod and juice pods photographed there, so it would save fans of large capacity disposables a ton of cash and help the environment at the same time.

I was sent ten out of the fifteen flavour range to test out. These are disposable type flavours, so you’ll be getting a lot of sweetener and cooling agents in them, along with the flavours themselves.

Flavours

Fresh Mint

It is fresh, and it is mint so they’re not lying here. It’s a sweet peppermint flavour to me, with a kick from the cooling agents to remind you of a polo mint or similar mint sweet. It’s not overly strong, giving a soft minty taste, rather than a blast but the cooling enhances it a lot, so you do have that freshness on the afterblow.

Watermelon Ice

WATERMELON. Loud, angry watermelon. It does actually taste like a watermelon, albeit with some added sugariness and a cold blast. MEMERS seem to have gone down a sweetener enhanced realistic path with some of these flavours. I taste the whole gamut of watermelon, from the wateriness to the slight rind, to the sweetness from the actual fruit, all enhanced by the cooling and sweetener.

Blueberry Sour Raspberry

This one’s a fruity delight. The raspberry is more forward but it’s added to by the blueberry, which isn’t musty or perfumed at all and comes on as you vape more. There are a few blue raspberry type e-profiles in this range, and of the two I was sent, this is my favourite as there is also a distinct sourness that’s quite hard to get in a vape juice. It’s not lip puckeringly sour, but it is distinct and noticeable. A good job on this one.

Kiwi Passionfruit Guava

A tropical, fruity mix here. The guava gives it the tropicality, the passionfruit the added sweetness, and the kiwi kicks in to mellow it all out and add a different dimension. It’s always nice to get a version of this flavour that isn’t overly floral or where the flavours seem out of place and this one does the profile very well.

Mr Blue

I’m assuming this is MEMERS version of a popular flavour with the name taken from a big cult TV show. It’s a fruity, sweet blueberry with just a hint of aniseed. I also get a touch of grape in there, along with other berries. The aniseed is very mild, almost not there, but it is on the aftertaste. The fruitiness is strong, and it makes for a nice vape.

Blueberry Cherry Cranberry

I’ve tried a few flavours trying to utilise cranberry lately and there’s a dryness to the flavour that sometimes takes over. Not so here, the flavour overall is a nice mix of the three. The cherry has a bit of darkness to it, the blueberry is sweet, again without musk or perfume, and the cranberry adds tartness and a touch of dryness on the end. I also get a touch of sherbet from the sweetener, which adds to the overall experience, along with a nice blast of cold.

Strawberry Ice

It’s, again, a quite realistic strawberry, with added sugariness. There’s a hint of greenness there that adds to the authentic aspect, but doesn’t take away from the overall profile for once, and the sweetener sugars it all up nicely. The ice effect isn’t overly strong either and lifts it.

Cherry Ice

There’s a slight soapy taste on the aftertaste of this one at first but that mellows after those first few draws. Otherwise, it’s a very nice cherry, with a touch of marzipan that’s tempered by the sweetness and a sherbety kick.

Strawberry Watermelon Burst

It does have a ‘burst’ to it. At first taste, it’s a proper watermelon but the sweet strawberry kicks in to make it a nice mix of the two. The wife described to taste like a strawberry flavoured watermelon, and I think that, while it does seem a bit nonsense, it makes sense once you’ve gone through a couple of ml. It is like a strawberry flavoured watermelon and it’s lovely.

Blue Razz

That classic flavouring. Again, they’ve done well to get a blue flavour with no mustiness or perfume about it, and the razz aspect is sweet but also tart. It’s fruit sweet rather than sweetie sweet if that makes sense, and it’s got a nicely cold kick to it as well.

Final Thoughts

SKE MEMERS Vape have done a good job of making some tasty, strong flavours to cater to the disposable crowd, but also make them reasonably realistic as well. Yes, there’s the customary sweetener and cooling in them, but the flavours themselves are well made and strong enough to shine through.

The device itself is simple, with the added coil pod and juice pod to make it a lot more environmentally friendly for those who like the flavour style of disposables but don’t want to be throwing away batteries every few days. That will also add to the cost effectiveness as well.

Thanks again to SKE MEMERS Vape for letting me try these tasty flavours from the WuKong 10000 out.

I was a very militant smoker for many years…why would I stop doing the only thing I had left that I liked doing?  Then I fell into vaping in 2017.  My wife bought a cheap kit off from Amazon that stopped working and I took it to a local vape shop to see what they could do with it.  An hour later and full of new knowledge about watts, ohms, and juice strength, I headed home with a new nautilus mini tank for her and raved to her about the helpful guy in the shop. I must have bored her with all my new found information.  I tried her vape that night, and a week later bought my own kit. Then I found POTV and the amazingly helpful and generous people on it. A month later I was making my own (disgusting) vape juice, and a month after that I was winding coils for my new RDA.  Six years on and I'm much better at making juice, and I now have no money but lots of shiny mods and tanks
