Mr Vapes by Dispergo vaping
I’m back again with another review from the Dispergo stable, this time I am checking out the Mr Vapes range of shortfills. This is a smaller range than most of their other brands, with only three flavours to chose from, none of which seem to have any connection to each other other than the usual Dispergo quality and attention to detail. As you probably have gathered from my other reviews, I have become a very big fan which is no mean feat as I have very picky tastebuds so will this range follow suit and continue to impress me? Let’s dive in and find out!
As always, these are 50ml shortfills with space to add your nic shot to take them up to 60ml, and are 70/30 vg/pg. Although these are high vg, I have found all Dispergo juices seem to work in a wide varied of tanks and set ups.
“Fresh and sweet strawberries balanced with deep blueberries, on a pancake base with a dash on maple syrup”
I’ll be honest here (and quite frankly, I wouldn’t insult you by being any other than 100% honest with my reviews!), on first vape, I didn’t like this juice. I didn’t really get any definition of the strawberries or blueberries, the pancake was not unpleasant but I wouldn’t say”wow, that’s a pancake!” and the maple syrup, usually one of my favourite component flavours is incredibly subtle. But for some reason, I kept coming back to it, over and over, and somehow I have ended up vaping more of this than both the other two flavours combined! It is really addictive and its blend has grown on me massively. I still find it is a little floral, which is probably what put me off at first as I’m not a fan of flowery vapes, but it’s subtlies are very intriguing and I find the more I vape it, the more apparent the various component flavours become. It is very complex and if you like “in yer face”, you should probably skip this, but if you like a juice that makes you think a little and appreciate the finer points of the mix, it is definitely worth giving it a try.
“Tangy raspberries and tart blackberries complimented by a authentic cereal base tone”
I kind of missed the cereal trend a few years ago, I tried one when they were all the rage and didn’t like it so I never really bothered to go back and try others which I now realise was probably a bit of a mistake. On the other hand, it could just be a credit to the mixing team at Dispergo that they understand ratios so well and never overdo one particular profile. As they themselves say, the cereal is definitely the base flavour, pulling everything else together. It gives what could be an over powering mix an almost savoury feel on the exhale. It was a good call not to over do the fruit layers too, and the raspberries and blackberries balance each other perfectly, with just the right level of tart, sweet and floral (I know I said I don’t like floral but blackberry is by it’s nature a floral tone, even in it’s pure fruit form). Both berries are very authentic, no artificial taste here! The more power you put through your kit, the stronger the fruit becomes and the more laid back the cereal tastes. It’s a very easy going, relaxed juice and could easily become a ADV.
“Sweet and juicy mango, exotic ripe pineapple, with hints of kiwi and a helping of sweet passionfruit”
This is one of those juices that could be made just for me, it is absolutely bang on my favourite tropical flavours. It really helps that the sun is currently shining and it feels like summer is pretty much here, at least for a few days, and this is exactly what I want to vape in my deck chair in the garden! It also shows the top notch quality of the flavours Dispergo are becoming known for. There is nothing artificial here at all, it is as close to vaping fruit juice as you are going to get. Mango can be a tough flavour to work with, it can be overly sweet and has a tendency to completely take over any juice it is used in, but this is really as good as it gets. It is sweet and juicy and I can almost feel the juice trickling down my chin. The passionfruit perfectly counteracts the sweet mango and gives it a beautiful tart zing. Pineapple adds a delicious tang and has just the right balance in the throat. Kiwi is the hardest part to pin down, it is there but works more a a blending note to bring the other fruits together. I absolutely love this juice and if I was stuck on a desert island with just one flavour to vape until I was rescued, this would be a very strong contender. If you are a tropical fan, you have to check this one out as it is an absolute gem!
So this one is a bit more of a mixed bag, but then it is a smaller range and still manages to cater to many different tastes. Whilst they may not all be to my personal preference, once again the quality of ingredients and craftsmanship is really evident and I think most vapers will find at least a couple of these flavours will really suit them. For me, Mr Fruity is the clear winner but Mr Pancake and Mr Smurfberry are both very good at what they are trying to do. As a trio of flavours, you can guarantee your tastebuds won’t get bored too.
Many thanks to Dispergo once again for sending these in for review.
