Nic Salts are derived from the natural state of nicotine, also found in tobacco leaves. They are able to provide a vaping experience much closer to a standard cigarette without the added chemicals and toxins. Moreish Puff nic salts are flavoured and available in 10mg or 20mg nicotine.
Many ex-smokers prefer nicotine salts due to the highly concentrated nicotine dose, along with great tastes.
Some benefits include:
- Providing you an immediate nicotine rush
- Perfect alternative for ex-smokers
- Produces a smooth vaping experience
Fortunately I got to choose which flavours to review so chose the above as these appealed to me, though I took a punt on sherbet as I hadn’t tried that variety of juice before.
I received 10ml of each to test which I will use multiple setups of my best ‘flavour giving’ devices using fresh builds or coils on each, where possible I tested on two or three different devices to give a fair, balanced opinion.
MOREISH PUFF APPLE & MANGO SHERBET
"Sharp apples and exotic mangoes combine in a tastebud tantalizing sherbet flavour"
The first thing that struck me was the sherbet. My punt paid off as they have got that sherbet hit spot on, the flavour was a little trickier to describe as neither the apple or mango were dominant. The inhale and exhale are similar and the taste was a 50/50 blend of the two, the result was lush and flavourful with the sherbet complimenting it perfectly. A good start and I enjoyed every drop and soon demolished the 10ml bottle.
That said I would put it in the treat category rather than an all day vape (ADV).
Score 7.5/10 – A treat I would buy again
MOREISH LOLLIES TWISTER
"A classic lolly is recreated in vape form, as pineapple, lemon and lime ice wraps around a sweet strawberry ice core"
This is one of the flavours I have tried in the freebase 70/30 shortfill. It’s not often you get a nic salt matching the shortfill for flavour, but fortunately this does exactly that, another one added to favourites. The fruity blend is difficult to pick out any that are dominant, at a push I would say pineapple. Either way, this mix of flavours is gorgeous and definitely an ADV (All Day Vape). The only thing I couldn’t notice was the ‘ice’ but that suits me fine.
Score 8/10 – Tasty blend of flavours and an ADV
MOREISH PUFF GRAPE AND STRAWBERRY CANDY
"Sharp grapes blend with sweet strawberries in a smooth, satisfying candy you can't wait to enjoy!"
I have to admit I was a little sceptical when choosing this flavour as I’ve had little luck with strawberry. Grape, on the other hand, I really enjoy so took a punt and I am really glad I did! The flavour of this blend is simply delicious. It’s a sweet recipe for sure but not sickly sweet, and the strawberry is the best I have tried. The Grape tone seems to be the perfect balance, I soon demolished 10ml and popped it on the top of my favourites from Moreish, though I don’t quite think it’s an ADV. It is one of those flavours that is a treat and good for rotation.
Score: 9/10 – Best Strawberry blend I have tried
MOREISH PUFF GRAPE CHILLED
"Some fresh, sharp grapes are blasted with some menthol for a refreshing all day vape"
Grape has become one of my favourite flavours for Nic Salts so it was only natural I chose this flavour to test. I’m not a fan of ‘chilled’ for DTL juices but they seem to suit MTL better for me. The chilled hit certainly left an impression on the inhale and the gorgeous grape flavour intensified on the exhale, leaving a really fresh grape aftertaste. Another ‘does what it says on the tin’ flavour, it surprised me how much I enjoyed this one and I would put this down as an ADV.
Score: - 8.5/10 Refreshing Grape Vape and an ADV (All Day Vape)
MOREISH PUFF LEMON SHERBET
"An absolute classic, the sweetness of lemons clash with the sharp fizzy taste of sherbet for a tongue-twisting vape!"
This is definitely a ‘does what it says on the tin’ flavour, this is among my favourites, nothing too complex as the lemon is a perfect balance of not too sweet and not to sour, with a gorgeous authentic sherbet tone. The aftertaste is as pleasant as the vape, this one is already added to my favourite nic salts shopping list and I was genuinely sad to finish off the bottle.
Score 8.5/10 – Simply delicious and an ADV
MOREISH PUFF RAINBOW CANDY DROPS
"A mix of sweet fruity flavours combine in some succulent candy drops"
Rainbow candy is one of those flavours that is abundant and most manufacturers add to their catalogue. This is the first time I’ve tried it in nic salts and I found it a little overpowering as the flavour is very accurate and intense. I enjoyed it in rotation, picking it up now and then, but I struggled to vape only this and found myself reaching for another flavour. It’s the only flavour from the range that I haven’t finished the 10ml bottle. It’s not that I disliked it, more that it was too intense for an ADV.
Score: 6.5/10 – A little too intense for an ADV
MOREISH PUFF WATERMELON AND CHERRY CANDY DROPS
"A sweet, wonderful candy is filled with juicy watermelons and ripe cherries for a delectable vape"
Another in the Candy range and similar sweetness to grape & strawberry. I do need to stress that my opinion on this flavour is definitely in the ‘subjective’ category as I have struggled to find any flavour with cherry that I enjoy. I took a punt on this one and it didn’t suit my palette as the cherry is the dominant flavour tone. I neither hated or liked this flavour, and I think it would be unfair to score this one. If you enjoy cherry, you will likely enjoy this candy mix.
Score: - Not Applicable due to personal taste – one for cherry fans
Out of the seven I tested, I am pretty happy overall with the selection, there was only one I found below par and one that simply wasn’t to my personal taste. I have tried a ridiculous amount of Nic Salt flavours and it’s a rarity to find a selection that I enjoyed the majority, there are so many bland flavours out there but Moreish can’t be accused of lacking in flavour and none tasted cheap or chemically.
I enjoyed testing these flavours and Moreish have won a customer in me of at least four of these flavours, and I'm happy to take a punt on other flavours on my next order.
