This is the second part of my IVG Intense Salts Range review. Thanks again to IVG for sending me so much to try out.
It’d be all too easy for me to just copy and paste over the blurb I’d written for the first review but that’s not how I roll. Instead, I’m going to waffle about how I test my juices when they get sent for review. I have a small MTL RDA that I make a six-wrap coil for, from 26awg nichrome wire. It’s nothing like the kinds of mesh coils you get in pod systems these days, but I find it gives me a true example of the flavour these juices are supposed to be. These flavours are still intense and full of flavour for me, and it’s easier to get through a few of the flavours without having to use a different pod for each one. Even still, I have found myself going through a good few mls out of some of the bottles, simply because some of them are just damn tasty.

Now that’s out of the way, here are the flavours:
Blue Sour Raspberry - It starts off with the blueberry, but the sweetness of the raspberry comes on quite quickly and the sweetener gives it a lift as well. There is a slight sour there to live up to the name and it’s got a good kick of cold as well. The two flavours mix in quite well after a few toots and blend into a nice flavour all of itself.
Grape Ice - This one is a classic take on the flavour, with dark notes as well as light and green. Another that’s quite deep and needs a good few goes on to get to the bottom of. The dark notes give way to a lovely sweetness that makes for more of a green grape, and I do like that myself. It’s a strong flavour that reminds me of grape juice rather than the fruit itself.
Sour Green Apple - It’s quite a realistic green apple. Not quite as sweet as a real granny smith and there’s aspects of the skin and the flesh in there as well as the juice. I prefer a more candied version myself, but this is a good and faithful representation of sour green apple.
Riberry Lemonade - This is a different kind of fruit juice. There’s definitely blackcurrant in it, mixed with other berries that I can’t quite discern. It’s really tasty and one of the best in the range. I get either cherry or blueberry in it as well, along with a nice strong lemonade, and there’s a very slight aniseed aftertaste as well that ties it all up nicely.
Tropical Ice - I get a bit of watermelon to start with, not what I was expecting at all. There’s a kiwi in there as well. Once I read the description, it says there’s apple in there too and knowing that, I could taste it. There’s a distinct tropical taste in there as well to make for an intriguing flavour overall. It’s very sweet on the aftertaste as well.

Fizzy Cherry - I do enjoy a cherry flavour these days and this one is a good one again. It’s strong and has that marzipan note in it but it’s got a full cherry depth to it that takes away all of the hints I’m not usually keen on. There’s also a very slight fizz to enhance the whole thing. The strength makes it in my opinion, and I am really enjoying it.
Frozen Cherries - It’s another nice cherry, and I feel this one’s sweeter than the fizzy one. It’s more balanced overall and has a nice cherry taste to it, despite still having a mild marzipan tinge. The aftertaste isn’t quite as intense either. Another winner.
Summer Blaze - I get a deep berry flavour, mixed in with a nice lemonade. It’s quite refreshing and another good take on drink style vape juice. There’s a lightness there that is perfect for summer, funnily enough. Not quite a pink lemonade, but the berries make it.
Blue Razz Lemonade - A nice blue razz flavour with a hit of lemonade on the end as well. There are no off tastes on the blue side, and the raspberry is strong here too. The lemonade is subtle but adds to the profile overall. A classic that’s benefited from the intense label.
Blue - Another blueberry and raspberry mix. It’s sweet and a little different from some of the others. It’s more of a sweetie style juice with a gummy aspect to it for me. The ice is quite strong as well, and it all mixes in for a nice vape after a few good puffs.

Strawberry Raspberry Cherry - The strawberry hits me first and It’s the same lovely strawberry in some of the others in this range. The raspberry kicks in with tartness, and then the cherry comes along and hits you in the face. They all kind of mix together and the aftertaste is a full-on new flavour altogether. A nice, strong juice again.
Banana Ice - A sweet banana that’s got the foam banana sweetie flavour to it, but the aftertaste is more of a real banana flavour. It’s not very often you get both aspects in one juice. I don’t hate this one for once, perhaps because it’s interesting to me how they managed it. I still don’t love it, but I don’t hate it. The wife loves it.
Blue Raspberry - Again, it’s a nice blue raspberry but the blue aspect has a sweetie tang to it. The raspberry side has a tartness that brings it all together into a smooth tasting vape that’s got a nice fruitiness about it. Very pleasant.
Retro Orange - A nice fizzy orange. I’ve tried this flavour in one of IVG’s replaceable pod kits before and this is just as lovely. It’s very citrusy and sweet, but there’s that underlying orange taste that they’ve just nailed down. There is an added sherbet aspect to it but that just elevates it for me.
Vanilla Biscuit - A strange choice in a range full of fruit flavours but a lot of people like biscuit vapes so it’s good to have choice out there. It is very biscuity, and the vanilla shines through as well once you have a few draws on it. If you’re a fan of bakery flavours then you’ll love this one.

Final Thoughts
I’m still liking what IVG have done here. They’ve given a different take with some of the juices, while still making the staples that they know will sell well to those who are moving over from disposables. The riberry lemonade and the summer blaze ones are so different from what I was expecting that I was quite impressed, and it’s nice to have something a bit different from the norm. The single bakery flavour was well done too, even though it’s not a profile I enjoy personally.
These ones are the same as the first fifteen in that they are all very strong flavours that still have the sweetness and cooling that most people are looking for these days, while still being true to what the flavours should be.
Thanks yet again to IVG for sending the IVG Intense Salts range over. You can buy them on their website.

- Some different flavours mixed in with classics
- Still very strong flavours
- No faff, just a bottle in a box
- Can still only get them in 10ml bottles

Reviewer at POTVI was a very militant smoker for many years…why would I stop doing the only thing I had left that I liked doing? Then I fell into vaping in 2017. My wife bought a cheap kit off from Amazon that stopped working and I took it to a local vape shop to see what they could do with it. An hour later and full of new knowledge about watts, ohms, and juice strength, I headed home with a new nautilus mini tank for her and raved to her about the helpful guy in the shop. I must have bored her with all my new found information. I tried her vape that night, and a week later bought my own kit. Then I found POTV and the amazingly helpful and generous people on it. A month later I was making my own (disgusting) vape juice, and a month after that I was winding coils for my new RDA. Six years on and I'm much better at making juice, and I now have no money but lots of shiny mods and tanks
