Bear State Vapor E-Liquids

Bear State Vapor are an American E-Liquid manufacturer based in California. At present their range consists of two gourmet flavours.

The juice comes in 30ml glass bottles with child proof dropper top caps. In addition the bottle is protected by a cardboard tube with a press fit lid. The labels are clear and nicely presented with all of the typical information being shown including warnings. The juice is mixed to 70VG/30PG and is available in several nicotine strengths: 6mg, 3mg and 0mg.

I vaped both of these juices in my Freemax Scylla which is currently fitted with a Ni200 coil. My device of choice was the Lavabox DNA200.

Republic

You really can’t go wrong with some solid tobacco flavouring and that is exactly what Bear State Republic Gourmet E-Liquid is all about. With this e-liquid, you can expect fine undertones that are scattered by sweet caramel and white pears. This adds a soothing and sweet edge to the flavour in general and it also helps to keep it smooth when it glides down the back of your throat.

I initially tried this juice in one of my RDA’s and to be honest it just didn’t work out for me because I seemed to be getting mainly tobacco and nothing else. I quickly swapped to my Freemax Scylla and this turned out to be much better since I got the full range of flavours in the mix. In my opinion this is a juice that is really suited to Temperature Controlled vaping for best results. What you get on the inhale is an excellent tobacco that tasted a lot like Virginia to me combined with a deliciously refreshing pear with a hint of sweet caramel added in for good measure.

To be honest I wasn’t sure if I enjoyed this juice to begin with but over the course of the day as I vaped more of it I found it really started to grow on me! It is quite unique and a little unusual but if you try this one do give it chance because it becomes very enjoyable over time.

Vapour production was very good but quite typical of the mix ratio used. I found the throat hit to be mainly medium but it does border on strong on occasion.

Mariposa

Bear State Mariposa E-Liquid will surely stir your senses with a magical mix of the finest notes that are then infused with mango, the ripest peaches, strawberries and a hint of menthol. Imagine, for a second, being cast on a desert island.

Since I happen to love both mango and peaches this turned out to be really enjoyable! What you get on the inhale is a delicious and very natural tasting combination of strawberry, peach and mango and this is complimented with a hint of mild menthol on the exhale. It makes for a very refreshing vape and one you could certainly enjoy all day long!

Vapour production was once more really good and I found the throat hit to be mainly medium but it might border on strong for some people.

Conclusion

The two flavours on offer here were in my opinion very well made and enjoyable. While it is true Republic took me a while to get used to I did find it very pleasant after giving it chance. If you want a new fruity vape to cool you down over Summer then definitely try Mariposa and if you are a tobacco E-Liquid fan and are looking for something a little different then certainly check out Republic.
