UD Organic Cotton

UD Organic Cotton is 100% pure Japanese organic cotton that has not been bleached, chemically treated or pigmented, to provide a pure and natural product. No break in or boiling is needed, you simply tear off or cut your desired strip of cotton and work with it to wick your coil build, it’s designed to be useable immediately, safe to vape with great lifespan and pure taste.

What is UD Organic Cotton made from?

UD Organic Cotton is imported and manufactured from genuine sheets of unbleached Koh Gen Do organic Japanese cotton grown without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides, and is repacked in house by UD. Inside a standard pack you get five sheets of of UD Organic Cotton, which can be easily torn off or cut off in strips to use with your coil build. It’s pretty easy to work with, fluffing out nicely, and it’s easy to roll too.

Flavour, Lifespan and Wicking Capabilities

The flavour from UD Organic Cotton is nice, clean and crisp, once you get past the initial bedding in period. I’ve mainly been using this with my Goon RDA, which gets a lot of abuse at all sorts of wattage making it an ideal candidate to test cotton in, and after wicking my build I do get a slightly detectable cotton taste in the background after priming for the first few puffs, but once it’s gone it doesn’t return until the next rewick! When the cotton has bedded in the flavour is as clean as anything else out there, giving a pure taste from my e-liquids.

Lifespan has been really good, I’ve used some juices containing a lot of sweetener such as The Original Cannoli and WFFL ranges, and my wicks have held up very well even under the heavy assault they have received! I’ve gone days between wick changes even with sweet high VG juices, and I’ve been impressed with how well the UD Organic Cotton has coped. It does well at high wattage too, with no noticeable scorching, and even a couple of hefty dry hits didn’t ruin or scorch the cotton either.

The UD Organic Cotton has wicked pretty much as well as any other cotton I’ve tried, retaining plenty of juice in my RDA’s, and in my RTA’s such as the Goblin Mini V3 it has soaked up even the thickest juices with ease. I can’t fault the wicking performance of UD Organic Cotton, it wicks as well as you would want your cotton to, and is a cotton that you can rely on.

Conclusion

UD Organic Cotton is a slightly more cost effective wicking option when compared to the more premium brands such as Kendo Vape Cotton Gold Edition and Cotton Bacon, and I can have no qualms about the way it performs. You have got Koh Gen Do cotton that is easy to work with, has a quick break in time and pretty decent lifespan too, which is all you can really ask of your cotton!
