The UK Vaping Industry Association (UKVIA) has signed an agreement with the Shenzhen Bao’an District Enterprise Centre in China to promote best practice across the UK-Chinese vaping supply chain in order to ‘uphold the highest levels of compliance’ in line with regulations in the UK and China.

According to UKVIA, the agreement will foster stronger economic, technical and cultural exchanges between the UK and Bao’an District, to drive bilateral growth and help connect UKVIA members with Chinese manufacturing partners.

As part of the agreement, the UK Vaping Industry Association received complementary office space in the Enterprise Centre in Bao’an, as well as an office and activity space at the ECCC headquarters as part of the Vaping Industry Foreign Association Centre, to allow members visiting the region to work and conduct business meetings.

UK Vaping Industry Association Director General John Dunne said: “Shenzhen is the global capital of the vaping industry where the biggest names in the industry operate from some of the world’s most advanced production hubs.

“This new partnership with the Bao’an regional government offers a practical platform for real business growth by fostering greater cooperation between the UK and China and opening new doors for our members to collaborate, innovate and strengthen their international footprint while maintaining the very highest of standards.”

The agreement will see the UK Vaping Industry Association assist Chinese enterprises from Bao’an in exploring opportunities within the UK, further enhancing trade relationships and innovation exchange between both regions.

Also, on Twitter/X, the UK Vaping Industry Association has spoken about this year’s VApril campaign.

Two weeks to go,” states the trade body.

As the world’s largest vaping education campaign, #VApril has helped smokers quit for eight years with evidence-based guidance. In 2025, we will also be delivering information on Identifying Illegal Vapes and Recycling Awareness.

“Whether you're a smoker looking to switch or an organisation wanting to get involved, VApril has the resources to support you. Stay tuned for updates as we countdown to this year's campaign.”
