I'm no 7lb weakling, I've got guns.
But I've now got a blister on both finger and thumb even though I've cracked out the rubber gloves, cloth-wrapped pliers and molegrips. This fudging thing isn't coming apart by pulling, rocking, twisting or anything.
I've tried heating the unit in hot water to expand it.
I've tried cooling the metal in a stream of cold water to contract it.
These seals are holding on like limpets.

You are not alone.
Having the same issue with mine dude, won't come apart at all.
Given up trying now for fear of busting it.
Injected hot water in it to flush it out and that's it now as far as I'm concerned.

I had no problem dis-assembling the hybrid... Is this what you are having problems with?

Here's how mine looks taken apart...
Small screw first, then unscrew the part it went into and you should then be able to unscrew the top of the tank from the connector post
