It’s not too hard as in cardboard but also not too soft like napa but over time the leather will soften the best person to ask is @Martvb60 he has a case although his is an older style

But they are designed with the original panels in mind any aftermarket I will have to design the case to suit

I can also line the inside with napa leather for an even softer case it depends

I like that Stu, I've probably sat on my hands for the last few weeks because work was quiet.
But I would like one of those.
I have my original Billet out with me everywhere and the thought of it hitting the deck worries me every day.

Hi guys just like to say i have one of the first one's Stu made and I am very impressed. I have had it nearly a month now and it is sturdy enough to protect my BB if i drop it but still feels comfortable in the hand and, like a pair of leather shoes it seems to be wearing in over time and softening with use, Hope this helps anyone that may be undecided. I would not be without one now i have had one. cheers

That dragon scale pattern is gorgeous ........... almost makes me want a BB .............

Reminds me of a boyfriend who once sat up all weekend carving scales into a thick pair of leather cowboy boots with a scalpel and then painted them. Looked amazing.
