hmmm the billet box is one of the most precise bits of engineering I have seen

so here are some rough sketches of a door that are wrong

here is a miller set up to trial run one of the holes.....wrong

see the readout that's mm see the gauge that's thousands of an inch, that's what we are talking here

here is alfie with a chew thinking about people saying billet box doors are money spinners

mach 3 which i need to run the gcode on the miller plus cut 3d, adobe suite to design the door

spinning at 3500rpm solid carbide tip cutting out the shape

cutting out the door easy stu just push a button

yeah really easy unlike a mod any error its scrap the cost of the resin door etc but this is the back the negative I have to hand cut the front due to the curve I am not doing flat panels as those aren't billet box doors are they

Thousandths of an inch? That's massive mate. I work in microns [emoji16]. Seriously though, I couldn't do any of the things that you do, to blend your art and talent with these ridiculously small limits is something else [emoji1303]
